NethWater is a Dutch consortium consisting of Evides Industriewater, Norit Membrane Technology, Royal Haskoning and Witteveen+Bos. NethWater focuses on development of water projects by means of DBFO within the chemical and petrochemical industry. Especially in China and the Gulf area in the Middle-East the Dutch water expertise is in need: the combination of industrial activity and the shortage of sufficient process water of good quality demands the use of technology and know-how to make use of the limited amount of water sources. Reuse of water in that case is a must. Based on its world-class references in Western Europe (a.o. at Dow Chemical, DuPont and Shell) NethWater aims at developing water treatment plants for the industry in those target areas. NethWater takes responsibility from design to construction and from financing to the long term operation. Through its website NethWater intends to facilitate its communication in the target areas of China and the Middle East. The Chinese version of the website will be available as of September 2008.
